Microneedling

Repair, Revitalise & Rejuvenate the skin

Microneedling Skin Therapy offers a multitude of benefits to help improve the appearance of a number of skin concerns including scarring, pigmentation and stretch marks, as well as improving the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

This treatment involves working over the skin with a needle cartridge, which causes trauma to the skin, which in turn stimulates the bodies repairing mechanism, kick-starting collagen production which helps to repair and rejuvenate the skin.

Microneedling can be used to treat any area of the body, including the face, neck and hands and targets specific problem areas, with permanent results.

Improving the appearance of;

Acne Scarring

Pigmentation & Sun Damage

Enlarged Pored

Stretch Marks

Fine Lines & Wrinkles

Although some client may see almost immediate results they will be most visible when the new skin cells have regenerated, around 1 month after treatment, giving you improved complexion and a radiant glow to the skin.

Our Microneedling treatments are tailored to meet your skins requirements, and are perfectly paired with premium skincare products to give you the very best results for your skin. We recommend a course of 3 Microneedling sessions to see noticeable improvement from your skin, and 5 to treat pigmentation.

At the end of your course we will assess your skin to see if you are then suitable to move on to a maintenance program.

FAQs

Will I be suitable for Microneedling?

Microneedling is considered a safe treatment for all skin types.
A skin analysis will be carried out during your consultation to ensure you are a suitable candidate.
This treatment may not be safe for those with certain health problems or patients suffering from active acne or coldsores.

How many treatments are recommended?

This will depend on the health and age of your skin.
It is normally advised to have 2-3 treatments 4-6 weeks apart.
Your clinician will determine your treatment plan according to your skin condition.

What areas can be treated?

Microneedling can be used on any part of the body.
The most popular areas to treat are the face, neck and chest.
Microneedling can also be effective on most types of scarring and stretch marks.

Does Microneedling hurt??

The sterile needles on the device used during a Microneedling procedure are microscopic.
This treatment may cause mild discomfort for some patients and some areas with deeper imperfections may cause more discomfort.
We take care to ensure patients are comfortable throughout the entire procedure.
A topical numbing cream is applied 30 minute prior to treatment.

What is the downtime after Microneedling?

Treatment areas will be red immediately afterwards, gradually subsiding within a couple of days.
You can apply makeup the day after your treatment if you wish.

When will I begin to see the results from my treatment?

Normally patients notice tighter, more even skin tone around 2 weeks after the first session.
Results can be more subtle for areas with deeper imperfections and additional sessions may be required to see maximum effectiveness.
As Microneedling stimulates new collagen and elastin production results will continue to build over time, for up to 6 months.
