Aqualyx is a minimally invasive injectable procedure, which works by altering the fat cells membrane, liquidising them, which results in the fat cell wall releasing the fatty acid stored inside. The body's defences then metabolise the non-attached fatty acids, which you then pass naturally through your kidneys.
You must be a healthy BMI to have this treatment, as Aqualyx is not an overall weight loss aid and can only be used to reduce fatty deposits around the body.
Results start to show between 2-8 weeks post treatment and will vary Individually. Depending on how much fatty tissue is in the area, multiple visits may be required to achieve the desired results.
Prices from £150 - £250 depending on treatment area.
